Until the full publication of Wanted Woman, Almada made several changes to the text, not only in terms of content, but also in terms of structure. However, the author still refers to the place and date on which he began writing the play, Madrid: 1928.

The Wanted Woman dossier (ANSA-L-33), along with other projects by Almada, such as El Uno or The Public on Stage, is an extremely rich testimony to the rewriting process used by the author.
