Theatre is always present in Almada Negreiros' work. His interventions in the theatre, like his expression in art, are multiple and heterogeneous.

Almada is many and all in one: he is the playwright; the theatre thinker; the designer of sets, costumes and posters; the illustrator of plays, programmes and themed publications; the dancer and choreographer; the director; the critic and, of course, the great admirer of the art of performance.
