That part of me that loves is older than

The stars, and aches for the ancient unity

That the world was before Time made[1] the wars 

Of separate beings on Being’s unity.

Of separate beings on Being and made life be.

Yet that which caused severance caused the wish

That severance should cease… Love could not love

Were there no need for love’s instant to |*seek|

Back unto love and grasp for ‘tself whose

The dissension of reality from God…

Love begun when love ended and life lies

In that void space that our soul’s

With the {…} wish for older unities

death blind

That love of self

When love begins yet fret

To lean and the self leave it loves, to find

Its own self for its self leave, and this achieve

The perfect † of its abstract mind.

Whatever this means to love, to the love

When thinks it, it means but love is over.
