Right through my heart like a knife 

     The far bell tolls…

Why this – this thing we call life

And round us then though that are souls?

The ceasing of the bell falls

     One away from me

And the silence it materialises wells

|My heart’s † going to see.

Then again the bells just the hand

     Of their knell on my low…

Of to have a soul that could understand

And a heart that could utter and avow!

She has a sunflower in her hand

And looking on from out of space

Something sunflower shines from her face.

We cannot ever understand…

Yet God has strange ways to show

How strong is we shall not[1] know.
