The first public reference to the play Wanted Woman appears on the back cover of Sudoeste 1, in June 1935: "Edições SW publishes briefly: Wanted Woman, three acts, a prologue and seven paintings (Madrid 1928)" and the same announcement is repeated in the second and third issues of this magazine.

The play was later mentioned in the bibliography of the first edition of Nome de Guerra, in 1938. However, it wasn't published until 1959.
