Psychopathic importance of the absence of the sentiment of humour. Poe never laughed, Shelley did and thereby was more human. Case of Christ who, probably, also never laughed. There is a kind of connection between laughter and sexuality, the absence of sexuality normally having whit it an absence of feeling as regards humour. (This is only conjecture.) (At any rate the absence of laughter is psychopathic).

Existe uma espécie de ligação entre o riso e a sexualidade, sendo a ausência de sexualidade normalmente acompanhada por uma ausência de sentimento em relação ao humor. (Isso é apenas conjectura.) (De qualquer forma, a ausência de riso é psicopática).
