Nenhum amanhecer nasceu tão claro e fresco como o da noite da Idade Média como aquele do lirismo português. Que estava certamente inconcluso, e que o esforço de um artista certo não pode o {…} da canção, não deverá testemunhar contra a beleza positiva.

Assim, os Cancioneiros - não os dos menestréis provençais, nem os dos mistérios castelhanos - tão comuns com o espírito de uso ou com a plenitude e o cenário da jornada de trabalho.
