Shall that of me that now contains the stars

Be by the very contained stars survived,

So that this light shall look on that which bars

 

My life

Let us be sad together

     For a new kind[1] of joy…

Make a false emotion better

     To make[2] a hurt to enjoy…

This possible Fate’s injustitice that all mars

My thought † cannot be wholly unreceived[3]

Yet why should Fate’s injustice be disbelieved?

|4. So all being possible an idle thought may

Who name this with his possible thought way. 

Less idle thoughts, because no truer[4] dismay.|

3. Conjecture cannot fit to the seen world

A garment of its thought untorn or covering,

Nor form its dreams couture an otherworld

Without the sense world its being dead discovering
