________________
The Field.
- The Field is a board 30 squares long and 20 broad. The goal occupy 6 squares at either end. The men are placed on the places marked for them on the board.
Kicks
- A man can kick the ball if it be on a square adjunct to the one on which he stands. He can kick in any direction, even over his head; in this case the first squares counted are the one on which the ball is and that on which the player stands. This is to make shorter the overhead kick. The ball cannot be kicked in any direction if another man be within two squares of it. Otherwise it can be kicked; it is as if kicked over the man’s head.
Men
The men have two powers-kicking power and moving power. The kicking power cannot exceed 10 squares, nor the moving power 6. The players are at liberty to give to their men the kicking power and moving power they desire.
