I should recommend to you therefore to let thought alone, at least in the beginning of your poetical career; confine yourself to using poetic words and images. People have gone mad through thinking. Not that I mean to insinuate that there is any danger of you being mad; not at all, I am incapable of such a statement.

       The little-living spring’s undeathless lovers

Must be the shadows whereby all’s redeemed.
