In the nations (as, for instance, England) where the people are not basically poetical (i.e. passionate, or emotional or artistic), great poets will arise, but in them it will be noticed that they are very proficient in the use of epithets (e.g. Tennyson, Shakespeare).
(Or has the epithet character an English characteristic?).
Use of epithet little sought among Portuguese, an account of the intensely poetic nature of that people. Use of the epithet sought among the English because the full poetic sentiment cannot be expressed by the language, which is not effusing for poetry. The name applies to vocal-music-seeking.

Nas nações (como, por exemplo, a Inglaterra) onde as pessoas basicamente não são poéticas (isto é, apaixonadas ou emocionais ou artísticas), surgirão grandes poetas, mas notar-se-á neles que são muito proficientes no uso de epítetos (e.g., Tennyson, Shakespeare).

Uso do epíteto pouco procurado entre os portugueses, um relato do carácter intensamente poético daquele povo. O uso do epíteto procurado entre os ingleses porque o sentimento poético completo não pode ser expresso pela língua, que não é efusiva para a poesia. O nome aplica-se à busca por música vocal.
