The classification by end {…}
The 1st is the classification with regard to literary history; the 2nd with regard to literature itself; the 3rd with regard to the moral, ethereal side of literature. Literature as science (1), as art, (2) as system-of-ethics[1] (3).

= Artistic.
The aim of literature is to aid in the progress and evolution of the world; it does this in 3 ways and the 3rd classification is in relation to these 3 secondary ends. There is literature of instruction, literature of elevation and literature of moralisation [all this way?]
