On 16 January 1964, Orlando Vitorino wrote a very complimentary review of Wanted Woman in the column ‘Semanário do Espectador’ in Diário de Notícias.

The last paragraph reads: "those who have now performed this play by Almada Negreiros are amateurs and beginners, and they won't do so perfectly for spectators who don't know how to be spectators."
