Almada Negreiros' archive contains a dossier of preparatory materials for the play Wanted Woman, with around 300 pages, made up of loose sheets and notebooks, mostly with handwritten texts, but also typewritten sheets and various studies for the illustration of the cover and the different paintings.

In this set, inscribed with the date 1928 (one of the pages has the interval ‘1928-1933’), you can read various versions of the scenes from the play that was only published in 1959.
